Adele shows Beyonce praise for Disney+ Black is King visual album

They are two of the world’s biggest singers — but Adele doesn’t have any problem admitting she is a massive fan of fellow female artist Beyoncé.

The British singer praised Queen Bey on Instagram with a sweet post about her new visual album Black is King, which was released on Disney+ on Friday.

“Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of her watching the visual album.

She also showed off her playful ensemble, which perfectly matched Beyoncé’s during her performance of her song Already.

In the video, the 38-year-old is wearing a catsuit by French fashion designer Marine Serre catsuit, while Adele wore the same crescent-moon design top in her post.

Adele and Beyonce have shared a close friendship for many years, with the former famously giving Beyoncé an emotional shout-out when she won the Album Of The Year gong for 25 at the 2017 Grammys.

“I can’t possibly accept this award. I’m very humbled and very grateful and gracious but the artist of my life is Beyonce,” she said.

The singer also looked unrecognisable in the post, after revealing she had lost 44 kilos earlier this year.

Pete Geracimo, a personal trainer who worked with Adele for four years between 2012 and 2016, called for less judgment of the newly-lithe mother-of-one, addressing those who he said may have felt “betrayed” by her fitness goals, after the singer was previously praised for embracing her curvier frame in the notoriously judgmental entertainment industry.

“My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family only,” he wrote.

“She did not lose weight to make others feel bad about themselves.”
